On September 16th, the Dychów Water Power Plant celebrated the completion of the complex modernization of the plant. The Act on the Completion of Modernization Works was signed, among others, by the Mr. Stanisław Dobrzański - President of the PSE S.A. (Polish Power Grid Company) Management Board and Mr. Jan Tokarz - President of the ESP S.A. (Pumped Storage Power Plants Company) Management Board. On July 18 - 22, in Austin, USA, the WATERPOWER XIV conference took place. This conference is held yearly and its purpose is to promote water power industry and hydro-technical projects. Among the participants of the conference were: the President of the Supervisory Board of the Pumped Storage Power Plants Company, Mr Zygmunt Gzyra, the President of the Management Board of the Pumped Storage Power Plants Company, Mr Jan Tokarz and the expert for capital projects of the Pumped Storage Power Plants Company, Mr Wojciech Matuszek. | > |

On the 20th - 23rd of June 2005, the PSPP Company (ESP S.A.) took part in the Poznań International Fair - (Salon Energetyka) on the joint stand of companies associated in the Chamber of Commerce for the Power Industry and Environmental Protection. | > |

On the 18th of January 2005, the 6th edition of the "Ecologically Friendly" Contest was held. The Contest was organised under the auspices of Mr Aleksander Kwaśniewski, President of the Republic of Poland. The title of the "Patron of the Polish Ecology" was granted to Mr Jan Tokarz, President of the PSPP Company Management Board. The reward was handed over to Mr Jan Tokarz during the Grand Gala in the Victoria Hotel in Warsaw by Ms. Jolanta Szymanek - Deresz, Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. | > |
